Munich Re piques student interest in insurance

Mr Stefanus Lie, an NUS undergraduate student and an International Mathematics Olympian, came in second overall for the sixth "Munich Re Cup" National College Student Actuarial Mathematics Competition held in Beijing. This year’s event attracted more than 650 students from mainland China, Hong Kong, Singapore and Taiwan, and about 20 students from universities in Singapore, including NUS and SMU, took part in the competition.
