Myanmar Minister visits NUS

Recently appointed Myanmar Union Minister for Education Dr Myo Thein Gyi visited NUS on 29 August to learn more about the University as well as faculty and student exchange programmes. NUS President Professor Tan Chorh Chuan hosted Dr Myo and his delegation of senior officials from Myanmar’s Ministry of Education to lunch at Shaw Foundation Alumni House.
Attendees from NUS included Professor Bernard Tan, Vice Provost (Undergraduate Education & Student Life); Professor Bernard Lanskey, Director, Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music; and Associate Professor Lim Wei Shi, Director, Office of the Vice-President (University & Global Relations).
Following lunch, the delegation visited University Town as part of the campus tour.
