Global strategy leader Ute Braasch appointed as NUS Deputy President (Administration)
The National University of Singapore (NUS) has appointed Ms Ute Braasch as Deputy President (Administration), with effect from 2 March 2026. Ms Ute Braasch is a seasoned C-suite executive with more than 30 years of international experience delivering operational excellence, leading organisational transformation and shaping human capital strategies in a variety of fields.
In her role as NUS Deputy President (Administration), Ms Braasch will lead the Administration Cluster of NUS. She will oversee University Campus Infrastructure, Central Procurement Office, University Health Centre, Health and Wellbeing, Office of Human Resources, NUS Information Technology, Office of Legal Affairs, and Office of Risk Management and Compliance.

A leader in strategy and transformation
Ms Braasch has held a range of senior leadership roles spanning Asia Pacific and the Americas, skilfully bridging strategy with execution in organisations around the world. Through these roles, she has accumulated rich insight into the management of large organisations in diverse fields from technology to professional services and real estate, and a holistic command of multiple functions, including finance, HR, technology, legal, supply chain, business intelligence, and risk and compliance.
Most recently, Ms Braasch served as Chief People and Culture Officer at Ollion, where she led the post-merger integration of five start-ups across Singapore, India, Indonesia and the United States to build a cohesive global technology consultancy.
Prior to Ollion, Ute spent over a decade at global real estate services company JLL in senior leadership roles, in which she oversaw global operations—including for the Americas and Asia Pacific—and led business transformation efforts in workforce realignment, digitisation and reskilling initiatives, among others.
A passionate mentor committed to developing talent and building cultures, Ute has made Singapore her home for over 30 years, as well as worked across Southeast Asia, India, Australia, the United States and Europe, bringing deep cross-cultural leadership experience and maturity to complex stakeholder environments.
