Do ASEAN-wide super apps need to be regulated?

Assoc Prof Burton Ong, Head of Competition Law Research at the EW Barker Centre for Law and Business at NUS, Mr Tan Hi Lin, Director and Ms Celestine Song, Asst Director, both from the Policy and Markets Division at the Competition and Consumer Commission of Singapore, discussed the development of e-commerce with the emergence of super apps that make it easier for customers to transact in different markets through a common platform, and the enforcement challenges these platforms pose.
