Heng: More can be done to meet needs of older S’poreans

The Singapore Perspectives 2018 conference, organised by the Institute of Policy Studies at NUS, addressed the challenges the aged in Singapore will face. It was also acknowledged that the issue has become one of the most urgent challenges for the Government. Amongst the speakers were Deputy Prime Minister Teo Chee Hean, Finance Minister Mr Heng Swee Keat, Managing Director of the Monetary Authority of Singapore Mr Ravi Menon, and Ambassador-at-Large Chan Heng Chee, who is also an NUS Board Trustee.
