NUS launches think-tank to explore legal issues

The new Centre for Technology, Robotics, Artificial Intelligence and the Law, a think-tank under the NUS Faculty of Law, will promote inter-disciplinary research in technology law which includes research into regulatory questions associated with the deployment of artificial intelligence, information technology, data analytics and robotics in the practice of law. It also examines privacy and data protection issues from the perspectives of computer science and law, and plans to probe the legal and ethical issues surrounding biotechnology.
