NUS students win first prize in Medical Grand Challenge with device that helps patients overcome hand function restriction

A team of NUS students clinched the first prize at the 2019 Medical Grand Challenge with their invention of Kenn, a redesigned hand splint for elderly with ailments that restrict hand functions. Organised by NUS Medicine, the winning teams can apply to join the NUS Graduate Research Innovation Programme wherein each team could get up to $100,000 to help them set up a start-up and launch their products in the marketplace.
