‘Writers have to raise muted voices’, Indonesian novelist, Okky Madasari

Renowned Indonesian novelist Ms Okky Puspa Madasari, Visiting Fellow at the Dept of Malay Studies at NUS Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, shared her views that Malay literature is not only an art form, but it should also serve as a platform for writers to raise social issues, including questioning injustices in human rights.
