NUS in quest to create next-generation 'quantum music'
Prof Vlatko Vedral from the Centre for Quantum Technologies at NUS, and Prof Dragan Novkovic from the School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science in Belgrade, Serbia, have started a quantum music project which aims to translate vibrations of supercooled atoms into audible sound and music. The project received an S$298,000 grant in 2015 from Creative Europe, a European Union programme for supporting the cultural and audiovisual sectors.
