NUS researchers selected for prestigious EMBO Global Investigator Network 2025

Two NUS researchers have been appointed to the European Molecular Biology Organization (EMBO) Global Investigator Network 2025, a prestigious programme supporting outstanding scientists pursuing high-impact life sciences research. Assistant Professor Luo Min from the Department of Biological Sciences and Assistant Professor Gloryn Chia from the Department of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences are among 12 global investigators selected this year for their contributions to fundamental and translational research.

The network provides funding and international collaboration opportunities to accelerate discovery. Asst Prof Luo investigates bacterial cell wall remodelling with implications for antibiotic resistance, and Asst Prof Chia studies immune responses in cancer to aid immunotherapy development.
