NUS researchers unveil 3D-printed customised pills

A team of NUS researchers led by Asst Prof Soh Siow Ling from the Dept of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at the NUS Faculty of Engineering have found a way to use 3D printers to create low-cost tablets that can be customised to a patient’s needs. The team developed a new method of medicine tablet fabrication in which the release rate of the drug can be customised.
