President’s Science and Technology Awards 2019

NUS scientists have been recognised with the President’s Science and Technology Awards, Singapore’s highest research and innovation accolades. Prof Toh Kim Chuan from the Dept of Mathematics at NUS Faculty of Science was conferred the President’s Science Award, along with a team from the Singapore Eye Research Institute comprising Assoc Prof Audrey Chia, Prof Saw Seang Mei, Prof Roger Beuerman and Adjunct Prof Donald Tan from Duke-NUS Medical School. Asst Prof Shao Huilin from the Dept of Biomedical Engineering and Asst Prof Charles Lim from the Dept of Electrical and Computer Engineering, both from the NUS Faculty of Engineering were also presented with the Young Scientist Award.
