Quest to understand Zika and how to fight it

Assoc Prof Lok Shee-Mei from Duke-NUS Medical School shared that she and her team found that the Zika virus’ structure was something of a hybrid, and noted that knowing this means scientists now have “targets” to work on in their quest to develop a Zika vaccine or minimise the impact of the virus on the human body.
