Reviewing China’s institutional progress

Professor Zheng Yongnian, Director of the East Asian Institute at NUS, discussed the reforms made to the Chinese institution. Prof Zheng opined that institutions must be in place to serve as a measure of progress, but such progress does not mean that the reforms are completed. He added that thesestages of reforms will form the legacy left behind by different leaders of the government.
