SGX makes good disclosures, but needs more transparency on share plans

Assoc Professor Mak Yuen Teen from the Dept of Accounting at NUS Business School opined that it is critically important for boards and remuneration committees to have truly independent directors who are knowledgeable about remuneration matters to reduce the risks of expropriation of minority investors through remuneration.
