SMEs: Active transformation or passive change

Assoc Prof Tan Khee Giap, Co-Director of the Asia Competitiveness Institute at the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy at NUS, together with research assistants Ms Chuah Hui Yin and Ms Yan Yu Chen at the same Institute, discussed the challenges that SMEs in Singapore face. The authors opined that the government can help SMEs increase their productivity with the recently announced initiatives, which include digital solutions and innovations.
