Spider study can light the way to new tech

Assoc Prof Li Daiqin from the Dept of Biological Sciences at NUS Faculty of Science discovered that the Cosmophasis umbratica, a species of the jumping spider found in Singapore, uses the sun’s ultraviolet rays for communication and to find that perfect mate.
