Statues at NUS unveiled to honour UK naturalist and his Sarawak aide

The statues of British naturalist Alfred Russel Wallace and his Sarawak field assistant, Ali, at the NUS Lee Kong Chian Natural History Museum commemorate their contributions in the natural history of Singapore and the region. Wallace and Ali had collected over 125,660 specimens of insects, birds, reptiles, mammals and shells from Southeast Asia.
