Study by NUS and BCA: Occupants of green buildings less prone to ‘sick building syndrome’
A joint study conducted by NUS and the Building Construction Authority (BCA) has found that occupants of buildings with a Green Mark certification are less prone to fatigue, headaches and irritated, dry or itchy skin, otherwise known as the ‘sick building syndrome’. Among other key findings,the study also found that the green buildings helped to create a healthier indoor environment.
