Tackling excessive plastic bag use: No levy in the works

A National Environment Agency study, led by Assoc Prof Kua Harn Wei from the Department of Building at NUS School of Design and Environment, has found that both plastic and degradable bags require the same amount of resources to make, and both are equally bad for the environment when incinerated.
