Tackling inequality requires robust measures and clear standards

Asst Prof Ng Kok Hoe from the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy at NUS opined that clear standards about basic needs can help focus policy attention, coordinate whole-of-government initiatives to address inequality, and promote public accountability for policy outcomes.
