The AGM dilemma: Better late than never?
Assoc Prof Mak Yuen Teen from the NUS Business School and Mr Chew Yi Hong, an active investor, opined that it may be worthwhile to revisit the four-month deadline for annual general meetings (AGMs) to be held after the financial year-end. They added that in the light of how this may have aggravated clustering of AGMs, there are good reasons to consider allowing another month to hold AGM.
