The Cold War undertones of Sino-US relations

Dr Guo Liangping from the East Asian Institute at NUS discussed Sino-US ties and analysed why the relationship between both countries have deteriorated rapidly in recent years, even showing signs of a Cold War. He opined that the US is starting to realise that instead of moving towards greater democracy, China is becoming a powerful but opposing force that differs from its values and ideology.
