The history of names of places

This was a feature on two essays by Asst Prof Imran Bin Tajudeen from the Dept of Architecture at NUS School of Design and Environment, in which he discussed about the history and shaping of Singapore under the British rule based on Malay literature sources after 1819, and how the names of historical places came about.
