The policy environment for supply-side reforms in China

Prof Zheng Yongnian, Director of the East Asian Institute at NUS, discussed the supply-side reforms initiated by the Chinese government, and opined that the central government of China, as policy makers, will need to provide a conducive environment for the country’s economic entities to engage in normal economic activities and also to stimulate them to have greater incentive to engage in economic activities.
