Time for China's economy to'enter the next phase'

Dr Chen Gang from the East Asian Institute at NUS opined that the recent turmoil in the Chinese stock market could be a sign of the need for China to embark on reforms so as to enter into a new phase of development. He highlighted that political stability is a prerequisite for this to succeed.
