Tofu production waste turned into healthy probiotic drink by NUS food scientists

Assoc Prof Liu Shao Quan and PhD student Vong Weng Chan, who are from the Food Science and Technology Programme at the NUS Faculty of Science, have developed a gut-healthy probiotic beverage from okara. The drink can be stored at room temperature and has a shelf life of six weeks.
