Two prominent Singaporean scientists returning home to join NUS Engineering

Prof Andrew Lim Leong Chye and Dr Aaron Thean Voon Yew, who are leading authorities in logistics and supply chain management and advanced electronics respectively, will be joining NUS under the Returning Singaporean Scientists Scheme. They join NUS Deputy President (Research and Technology) Prof Ho Teck Hua, who was the first Singaporean scientist who was recruited under the prestigious programme. Prof Lim, a computer scientist behind five successful companies, and Dr Thean, an engineer and prolific inventor with 50 patents, will be faculty members of NUS Faculty of Engineering.
