Unconventional brilliance

The hour-long Trio SurPlus Concert by Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music at NUS featured four hardcore avant-garde works all composed within the last 50 years. With a programme revealing both brilliant instrumental virtuosity and unconventional creativity, this concert was in a class of its own.
