USP students organise Second Asian Undergraduate Summit

Dr Vivian Balakrishnan, Foreign Minister and Minister-in-charge of the Smart Nation Initiative, graced the opening of the Singapore leg of the Second Asian Undergraduate Summit organised by students from the University Scholars Programme at NUS. The Summit focuses on how citizen participation can be maximised when coming up with ‘smart city’ solutions that tap innovation and technology to improve lives in urban development.
