Vivian lists three ways for S’pore to stay relevant

About 1,200 members from the policymaking and business communities, academia and civil society attended the annual Singapore Perspectives conference on 28 January 2019, organised by the Institute of Policy Studies at the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy at NUS. Themed “Singapore.World”, the conference addressed topics such as the impact of US-China relations on the region and how Singapore can tap opportunities in the region. Prominent speakers at the conference included former Singapore Foreign Minister George Yeo; Prof Tommy Koh, Professor of Law at NUS and Ambassador-at-Large, Ministry for Foreign Affairs; and Prof Wang Gungwu, Chairman of ISEAS-Yusof Ishak Institute.
