What the CFE report left unsaid is critical to future success
Dr Adrian W J Kuah, Senior Research Fellow and Head of the Case Studies Unit, and Mr Hawyee Auyong, Research Fellow at the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy at NUS opined that the Committee on the Future Economy report is simply a report and that it remains to be seen how the recommendations are interpreted, elaborated and implemented. They highlighted some of the elements of the report which were conspicuously absent, namely, details, complexity and national solidarity, one of the most important factors for Singapore’s future success.
