Why financial markets like Trump

Assoc Prof Nitin Pangarkar, Academic Director of the MBA and NUS-HEC Paris MBA Programs at the NUS Business School observed that since US President Donald Trump’s inauguration a year ago, he has made a number of strange decisions which led to his popularity ratings to have slumped to record lows, but however, the stock markets have boomed. Assoc Prof Pangarkar discussed the possible reasons for the stock market boom and opined that while Mr Trump’s statements may have been perceived positively, words will need to be followed by actions.
