Will Abe's visit to Pearl Harbour bring an end to war

Dr Yang Lijun from the East Asian Institute at NUS discussed the upcoming landmark visit by Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe to Pearl Harbour. While Mr Abe will make a statement not to repeat the tragedy of war, Dr Yang opined that Japan's true agenda for this visit is to reduce the future variables in Japan-US relations and to maintain and strengthen its security alliance with the US.
