Will there be a reversal of China’s fate?

Dr Lance Gore Liangping, Senior Research Fellow from the East Asian Institute at NUS opined that China may be able to reverse its fate despite ongoing China-US trade war and COVID-19 pandemic as long as China does not make the prolonged and subversive mistakes that it did during the Cultural Revolution. He added that if China is making the same mistakes, it could very likely be due to its reversion to orthodox practices from Chairman Mao Zedong’s era in recent years.
