Youth dance show by four higher education institutions

For the first time, NUS’ Ilsa Tari dance group collaborated with dancers from other higher education institutions for the NUS Arts Festival 2018. The Titian Naluri performance involved the Beztari dance group from NTU, Indra Nila Kirana from Nanyang Polytechnic and Itra Tari from Ngee Ann Polytechnic. The performance explored the role of traditional Malay dance in strengthening identity and social cohesion. It built on last year’s concept, Tenunan Wirasa, which explored the ‘new Malay identity’ and harmony between traditional and contemporary dance moves.
