Strong debut at Air Law

Despite participating for the first time at the International Air Law Moot Court Competition, Team NUS Law clinched the second spot at the event held in Jakarta from 7 to 10 April. The students also emerged as the Best Respondent Team out of 26 competing universities from around the world.

The Year 4 Law undergraduates — Benjamin Goh, Louis Lim and Ling Jia Yu — were selected from students who had taken the Aviation Law and Policy course at NUS Law. Coached by NUS Law Professor Alan Tan, the team put up a commendable performance addressing this year’s moot problem, which looked at the use of force against a civil aircraft in disputed airspace.
