180 found living on the streets

Asst Prof Ng Kok Hoe from the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy at NUS was part of the research team in the first point-in-time survey in Singapore conducted in March 2017 by volunteer welfare organisation Montfort Care and volunteer group SW101. The study found 180 people sleeping outdoors across 25 locations in Singapore. Most were men aged above 50 and 60 per cent had jobs.
