Alternative crowd-funding helps build a 'golden home' for the elderly

Ms Zhan Mingfen, a fourth-year student at the NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, baked and sold desserts to raise more than $2,000 for the fund raising campaign 'For a Golden Home' for Project HomeWorks by Habitat for Humanity Singapore.
