Beautiful Science: Podosome-forming cell

Ms Nisha Rafiq, a PhD candidate with the Mechanobiology Institute, Singapore (MBI) at NUS, has created an image of nine colour combinations that artistically show a podosome-forming immune cell viewed under a super-resolution microscope. The image was created as part of a study by MBI researchers into how podosome formation is controlled by a protein known as Arf1.
