Bigger state role in pre-school education welcome

Dr Trisha Craig, Dean of the Centre for International and Professional Experience at Yale-NUS College noted that the plans laid out by Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong at his National Day Rally 2017 speech for early childhood education are both welcome news for the sector and a signal that the country intends to take a dramatic step forward in terms of access to pre-school education.
