“Blue Noise” essay bags prize in science writing contest

Ms Tara Thean, Research Associate from the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy at NUS, was one of 26 winners of the Asian Scientist Writing Prize 2017. Her winning essay, titled “Blue Noise”, is on how sounds by humans can negatively impact marine life.
