Ms Paveena Seah of the IPS Social Lab at the Institute of Policy Studies (IPS) at NUS discussed the HDB ban on pet cats. Instead of the ban, she suggested addressing the source problem of lax and irresponsible cat owners and urged public agencies to work on educating and regulating owners.
