The challenge in changing the way we tackle problems

Dr Adrian Kuah from the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy at NUS noted that a structured, mechanistic and top-down approach to solving problems, underpinned by an interventionist ethos, had worked in the earlier stages of Singapore's development, but given the present set of complexities, the challenge now is in changing how problems are approached.
