Commuters can catch a driverless public bus by 2020

A consortium led by ST Kinetics will launch two autonomous public buses by October 2020. The Singapore Autonomous Vehicles Consortium, which includes NUS, the Agency for Science, Technology and Research, SUTD, NTU and SIT, expects to unveil a prototype by early next year. It will also launch four driverless on-demand minibuses on Sentosa in 2018.
