Dengue-infected cells can be destroyed by T cells: NUS Study

A team from the Duke-NUS Graduate Medical School and Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine at NUS found that dengue-infected cells can be destroyed and prevented from multiplying by a type of white blood cell called T lymphocyte (T cell). This finding could pave the way for an effective vaccine against the dengue virus.
