Doctor dream fulfilled: Male nurse applied for Duke-NUS Medical School three times, reporter turned to be a doctor

A 34-year-old nurse and a 31-year-old former reporter were both among the 13th batch of students accepted to the Duke-NUS Medical School (Duke-NUS) this year. Professor Ian Curran, Vice Dean of Education at Duke-NUS, said that the diverse backgrounds of their students would continue to add unique value to the healthcare system.
