East Asian Institute gets new leadership
The East Asian Institute at NUS has appointed Mr Bert Hofman, a Dutch national, as Director. He was formerly the World Bank’s country director for China, Mongolia and Korea based in Beijing, and was previously chief economist for the World Bank and director of its Singapore office between 2011 and 2014.
