How can Singapore move up the values ladder?

Assoc Prof Tan Ern Ser from the Dept of Sociology at NUS Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences and Academic Advisor to the Social Lab at the Institute of Policy Studies at NUS opined it is critical that Singaporeans deal with the negative current culture of dysfunctional competitiveness, materialism, and looking out only for oneself that is preventing us from achieving our full potential as a society.
