The 'Hungry Ghost month' effect on housing

Prof Agarwal Sumit, NUS Business School, and Assoc Prof Sing Tien Foo, NUS Institute of Real Estate Studies, studied the buying behaviour of Chinese and non-Chinese home-buyers, and concluded that non-superstitious buyers have been able to arbitrage for lower prices in non-landed private housing markets during the Hungry Ghost month.
